Hundreds protest suspected Tamil rebel attack on Marxist political party

Aug 8 (AP/TheAcademic.org) Sri Lanka (AP): Schools, shops and offices were closed and transportation interrupted on Monday in a northeastern town where hundreds of people protested an attack by suspected Tamil Tiger rebels on a Marxist political party.
