UNP supporters 'assaulted journalist'

May 6 (BBC) Supporters of the main opposition UNP is accused of assaulting a journalist in Polonnaruwa. Upul Shantha, a journalist working for government-controlled National Television (Rupavahini) has made a complaint to the police that he was assaulted by UNP supporters at Tamankaduwa Divisional Council premises.
