Govt. rejects international probe

May 6 (BBC) TNA called for the government to appoint an international commission of inquiry to probe the murder of senior Tamil journalist Dharmeratnam Sivaram. In a special session held to debate the murder on Friday, TNA's parliamentary group leader R Sampanthan urged a panel to be appointed from SAARC and Commonwealth countries.
