Trouble Constitution Council awaits President's nod

May 3 (AsianTribune) Sri Lanka's troubled Constitutional Council awaits President Chandrika Kumaratunga's nod to start functioning. Although, the provision for a Constitutional Council was crated three years ago with the passing of the 17th amendment to the constitution, it had hiccups from the beginning.
