Donors not to insist on joint mechanism

Colombo, 12 May, Most of the donors including the United States may not insist on establishment of a tsunami joint mechanism as a pre-condition for aid to Sri Lanka. According to official and diplomatic sources, the donor nations are not unanimous on pre condition at the next week’s international donor conference in Kandy.
