SPORTS: April 1 (SABCnews.com) - South Africa are out of the Women's Cricket World Cup. They were beaten by Sri Lanka today, despite a promising start to the match.
South Africa won the toss and sent the visitors in to bat. With the aim of getting Sri Lanka out well before lunch, the visitors at one stage were reeling on three wickets for one run. However, in the end it took 47 overs and four balls to see the Sri Lankans all out for 158, after some poor fielding, dropped catches, and several missed run out chances.
