LTTE submits fresh 'joint mechanism proposal' to Solheim

April 1 (LankaPage) - Apr 01, Colombo: The LTTE has reportedly handed over a fresh proposal for a joint mechanism to distribute foreign tsunami aid to Norwegian Peace Envoy Erik Solheim in Vienna. The Sri Lankan Tamil newspaper Sudar Oli reported that the LTTE delegation led by LTTE political head S.P. Thamilselvan, which is currently touring in Europe, held discussions with Solheim and handed over the new proposal. They also discussed the Sri Lankan government’s revised version with Solheim.
