NPC inquiry on police threats

April 19 (BBC) National Police Commission (NPC) decides to open an investigation into alleged threats on Nimal Silva Gunaratne of Panadura. This follows a complaint to the NPC by Gunaratne saying that his life was threatened by a group of police officers, NPC Chairman Ranjith Abeysuriya said.
