Tamilnet flouts media ethics, says Sri Lankan media watchers

Colombo, April 19 (Asiantribune.com) Sri Lankan media circles expressed dismay at unethical media practices by the Tamilnet, a pro LTTE website, which has refused to publish a correction sent by the Scandinavian Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission (SLMM). Several senior members of the Editors Guild and Sri Lanka Working Journalists Association deplored Tamilnet website for its refusal to publish a correction or to acknowledge its misreporting.
