UNP wants probe on tsunami funds

March 16 (South Asian Media Net) - COLOMBO: The United National Party (UNP) has requested the President to initiate an inquiry into the funds received for the tsunami victims and find out what happened to the large amount received, since it has not been given to the victims of the tsunami, said UNP parliamentarian Bandula Gunawardana when he addressed a media briefing at the office of the Leader of the Opposition Tuesday.
