Trinco residents blame JVP for violence

Mar 4 (BBC) An attempt to build temporary houses in a playground in the town of Trincomalee ended with clashes after the residents of the town protested against the move. Sinhala and Tamil residents of Trincomalee blamed the JVP for the violent incidents which took place as a result of the attempts to build houses exclusively for Sinhala tsunami victims in this multi racial town.
