European monitors probe allegations of torture by Tamil Tiger rebels

Mar 3 (AP) European cease-fire monitors on Thursday investigated allegations that Tamil Tiger rebels abducted and tortured two people in northern Sri Lanka, and police said the guerrillas had harassed the investigators.
