Police probe Sri Lanka killings
March 15 (BBC) - Police near the central Sri Lankan town of Welikanda say they are investigating the killing of two youths in the area late on Monday night.
They say unidentified gunmen wearing combat fatigues took the youths from their homes and shot them dead.
One of the victims was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the head.
Military sources said the two were believed to be supporters of the Tamil Tiger rebel group, but this could not be independently verified.
