Opposition wants emergency withdrawn

Feb 11 (SAMN) The UNP Thursday launched a thundering attack on emergency regulations which are to be presented in parliament Friday. The UNP in a statement said the parliamentary group had decided to vote against the motion for the extension of the state-of-emergency as some regulations could be used to suppress personal freedom and trade union rights.
