One killed in attack on rebel offices in Sri Lanka, clashes erupt




COLOMBO (AFP) - A grenade was tossed into a Tamil Tiger office in northern Sri Lanka, killing a person, while six others were hurt in clashes at protests against the murder of a rebel leader, the guerrillas said.

The grenade was tossed into a Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) office in the northern town of Mannar on Saturday evening, a report on the rebel's website Tamilnet.com said.
