Jaffna undergrads prefer South to North

Feb 23 (SAMN) Security concerns are driving Sinhala and Muslim undergraduates at the Jaffna University to seek enrolment in universities in the south. UGC Chairman Prof. B.R.N.N. Mendis said 21 Sinhala undergraduates at the Medical Faculty had made appeals to the UGC for admission in southern universities.
