Tamil Tigers say truce in peril in Sri Lanka

KILINOCHCHI, Sri Lanka (Reuters) - Sri Lanka's Tamil Tigers warned on Tuesday that a ceasefire after two decades of civil war was at breaking point following the killing of one of their top cadres.

Tuesday was the third anniversary of the ceasefire between the two sides.

In Colombo, schoolchildren flocked to an exhibition of photographs chronicling the truce in a war that has killed over 64,000 people on both sides of the ethnic divide and displaced hundreds of thousands from their homes.
