IDPs/NGO Officials Intemidated

Contrary to the report published on pro-LTTE website Tamilnet which claimed the IDPs blocked the convoys from leaving Kilinochchi, sources in the area has claimed that the LTTE is intimidating the internally displaced civilians to remain in Kilinochchi and forcing them to protest against the departing NGOs. The sources said that in reality the IDPs are struggling to leave Kilinochchi along with the NGOs but the Tigers are preventing them doing so in order to utilize them as human shields.
