UNP Activist Assault individual's from Leading Media Group

UNP activist Mrs. Rosy Senanayake’s security guard has assaulted individuals from Wijaya News Papers. The Irony of this entire story is that these are the same people who look at the tiniest thing to attack the government for such acts regardless of their participation or not. I wonder if we see another protest by the Media or as a matter of fact, if the free media groups will make statements against the act committed by UNP loyalist.

The victim has been hospitalized after the incident.

It wouldn't surprise me if the UNP issues a statement stating now that the security officer was acting on it's own and that the UNP or its members condemn the attack and necessary action should be taken against the said individual.

Once must question whether this same principle should apply when security from another party commits such act of violence?
