Six Lankan soldiers killed in Jaffna landmine blast

Dec 4 (HT) In the most serious violent incident since President Mahinda Rajapaksa assumed office on November 19, six Sri Lankan army soldiers were killed and four injured in a claymore mine blast in Kondavil, about 5 kms from the northern Tamil town of Jaffna on Sunday.
