President's win angers rebels

Nov 20 (AP) Sri Lanka's Tamil rebels reacted angrily Sunday to the election of hardline President Mahinda Rajapakse and his inaugural speech, saying they showed the country's Sinhalese majority had no understanding of Tamil aspirations for a homeland.
