Tributes for the new President from afar

Nov 20 (LT) Several countries have congratulated the new President of Sri Lanka. Indian Prime Minister Man Mohan Singh in his message said that the relations that had been between the two countries for more than 2500 years could be further strengthened with the election of Mr. Mahinda Rajapakse as the President of Sri Lanka.
