Chandrika vows to protect her party from extremist groups

Oct 24 (UNI) Expressing strong displeasure over Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapakse's electoral pacts with the Sinhala extremist parties in the South, President Chandrika Kumaratunga has vowed to protect her Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) from those "extremist groups at any cost".
