Sri Lanka's leader to discuss peace plan with opposition presidential candidate

Oct 24 (AP) President Chandrika Kumaratunga met late Monday with Sri Lanka's main opposition presidential candidate to consider the possibility of cooperating to end a simmering ethnic conflict.
