Mahinda needs to clarify JHU's war stance - UNP

Sep 17 (Lanka Newspapers) The UNP said yesterday that presidential candidate Mahinda Rajapakse owes an explanation to the country on the Jathika Hela Urumaya's solution to the ethnic issue. The UNP`s Deputy General Secretary Tissa Attanayake said that Jathika Hela Urumaya Treasurer H. M. G. B. Kotakadeniya`s call for 'war', as a means to resolve the ethnic issue requires an urgent clarification by Rajapakse.
