Chandrika’s Distortions and Ranils Contortions

The eye of the current political storm is slowly but surely shifting from the President’s Secretariat to parliament. Playing her cards with some native cunning she insists on parliament taking the final decision on P-TOMS – the joint mechanism with the LTTE to distribute aid to the tsunami victims. The legislation to establish P-TOMS as the administrative mechanism for distribution of aid is expected to come before parliament on Wednesday.
