"Pope was a symbol of religious harmony" – Hakeem

April 7 (LankaMuslims) His Holiness the Pope was a great figure, who had been promoting peace in the world and his entire papacy had been a landmark era where the whole catholic world was encouraged to relate and discuss differences with other faiths said Hakeem, the Leader of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress in Parliament last Tuesday. He conveyed condolences on behalf of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress on the passing away of the Pope.
