Welikanda killings "a land dispute"

Mar 7 (BBC) Sri Lanka’s police say that initial investigations have shown that discrepancies in Mahaweli land distribution to have resulted in the killings in Welikanda. Six civilians were shot dead and three more injured in the shooting on Saturday evening in Kolakanawadiya, Welikanda.
