SriLankan offers daily return services from Colombo to New York this month
Lanka Business Online - National carrier SriLankan Airlines is starting off a daily return service from Colombo to New York's JKF Airport this month, its CEO said Monday.
The daily return service which starts on March 27, is done through codesharing with its technical partner Dubai's Emirates Airlines, Peter Hill said announcing SriLankan's radically revamped post-tsunami schedule.
"This year will probably not be a great year for the tourism industry in our country, but as the infrastructure returns to normal we need to be progressive in our thinking and we have developed a three phase plan to compliment our marketing objectives," Hill said.
