LTTE continues to flout MOU

Mar 10 SCOPP - The Sri Lanka Monitoring Mission has failed to get the LTTE flag removed from the venue where an LTTE function at Trincomalee was held on Tuesday evening.

Military spokesman Brigadier Daya Ratnayake said LTTE flag was hoisted during a commemorative ceremony at the Hindu Cultural Centre and the Police had informed the SLMM of this violation of the Memorandum of Understanding, requesting them to get the LTTE flag removed immediately.
