Lanka supports Dhanapala for UN post

March 29 (South Asian Media Network) - The Foreign Ministry has officially requested Sri Lankan missions abroad to lobby support of host Governments for Sri Lanka's candidacy for the UN Secretary General's post which falls vacant when Kofi Annan steps down at the end of his second term in 2006.
