'Karuna group a formidable force against LTTE'

Mar 2 (UNI) The Tamil militant group led by renegade rebel commander V Muralitharan, well-known as 'Colonel' Karuna, had emerged as a formidable opponent to the mainstream Tamil Tiger rebels especially in the Eastern Amparai district, STF Deputy Inspector General of Police (GIG) Nimal Lewke has said.
