Japan to aid fishing villages in North and East

Mar 02, Colombo: Japan will sign an agreement with the Sri Lankan government to provide a sum of Rs. 30.5 million for two "Emergency Projects for Tsunami-Affected Fishing Villages" in the country's North and East. These projects will be implemented by Bridge Asia Japan (BAJ) and the Pacific Asia Resources Centre (PARC), two Japanese NGOs.
