US Geo Survey: Tsunami hit up to 1 km inland

Feb 20 (ANN) The tsunamis that hit Sri Lanka in December had travelled more than one kilometre in some parts of the country, with distances showing an increase along the east coast towards the south, an international tsunami survey team has found.
