Sri Lanka: How far is peace?

Feb 14 (IB) Sri Lanka was on the verge of a disaster on the Xmas day last year. Not a natural disaster, but a man-made one. War fever in the LTTE-controlled areas of the North and East, which had been whipped up from Prabakaran's Heroes' Day speech on 26 November onwards, reached a peak on the Christmas day.
