Rebels: Killing May Harm Sri Lanka Talks
COLOMBO, Sri Lanka - The Tamil Tiger rebels said Tuesday the killings of one of its top political leaders and five others may disrupt tsunami relief work and the resumption of peace talks with the government, which denied it was behind the attack.

I am sure they will have to be planning some sort of retaliation - otherwise they will look weak. If they do retalitate, though, the whole situation could escalate..
They might not retaliate just because of that reason. I dont think LTTE is in a position to start a full scale war after the Tsunami.
