Emergency a virtual Police State: UNP

Feb 15 (SAMN) Prof. G.L. Peiris Monday said the UNP, decided against supporting the Emergency Regulations promulgated by the President on February 3 for the undermentioned reasons. There is no justification for these Regulations to be brought into force in the whole of the 14 Administrative Districts.
