TNA Condems Air Raids

TNA said strongly condemn the indiscriminate bombing in Vadakachchi village in Kilinochchi district. They went on to say that the Sri Lankan government has started indiscriminate bombing after the foreign aid workers were asked to vacate areas under the LTTE control. The air raids reportedly has injured up to 3 people. Sri Lankan Air Force is known to take adequate measures to safeguard civilian casualties; a reason - according to agencies - the LTTE has prevented civilians and aid workers from leaving Kilinochchi.

TNA is a political representation of the LTTE in the Sri Lankan parliament. TNA has so far never condemned the LTTE suicide attacks that have claimed thousands of lives in the protracted ethnic strife in the island.
