Mervyn - Stealing Land?

Apart from intimidating the media and making an ass of himself in public as always, Minister Mervyn Silva has started to instill fear among government officials, as he muscles through his cabinet colleagues to fulfill his aspirations of becoming a landed proprietor.

Is this what Sri Lanka is coming to? Ministers illegally obtaining land for their families? What about the millions who does not have any land or as a matter of fact, live in poverty? Can't they receive any land? Why does the government allow such people to stay in power? Are they scared of the thug? These are some basic questions that one must ask from the GoSL.
