LTTE assaults a Father for refusing to give away his child

The LTTE terrorists brutally assaulted a Tamil civilian for refusing the LTTE's demand to give away his 14 year son to the terrorist outfit.

Mr. Pubalasinham Shivakumar complained the matter to the Army camp at Sittandy in Batticaloa yesterday at 12.00 noon. (Thursday the 17th of August).

Mr. Shivakumar said he would not allow his son to be taken forcibly to fight as a child soldier in the LTTE.

"My son is still a school boy; they (LTTE) do not want them to be educated, I would not let them (LTTE) to destroy son's future", Mr. Sivakamar told the military officials.
