There's no armed resolution to Sri Lanka's ethnic strife

May 2 (Gulf) It seems to be a season of trouble in India's neighbourhood. After Nepal, it is now the turn of Sri Lanka to simmer and boil over. The terrorist attack on Sri Lankan army headquarters in Colombo, in which the army chief was injured, shook the fragile truce between the Sri Lankan Government and the LTTE to its foundations.
