Sri Lankan elections to judge government's popularity, peace process' direction

Mar 30 (AP) Three people were wounded Thursday in assaults during local elections seen as a referendum on President Mahinda Rajapakse's governing coalition and its support of a Norway-brokered peace process with Tamil rebels.
