Sri Lanka detains 50 for questioning after massive hunt for rebels

Jan 1 (AFP) Sri Lankan police have said 50 people have been detained for questioning out of more than 900 rounded up during massive house-to-house searches in the capital for suspected Tamil Tiger rebels.
