Karuna faction announces unilateral ceasefire against Wanni Tigers

Jan 30 (LankaPage) The LTTE's breakaway leader Karuna today announced a unilateral cessation of 'self-defence campaigns against the Tamil Tigers' to facilitate President Mahinda Rajapaksa's efforts toward a permanent peace settlement.
