Red alert in Lanka ahead of election

Oct 18 (GT) Red alert was sounded in Colombo following the discovery of a claymore bomb near the Kelani Nadi Vihara in Modera on Sunday morning. DIG Pujitha Jayasundara said the C-4 type explosive weighing 1.5 kilos could have caused extensive damage.
