Southeast Asia vital to U.S. interest - U.S. State Department
Sep 22 (Asian Tribune) Southeast Asia holds critical significance for the United States, and the U.S. government aggressively is pursuing its policy objectives in the region, said Eric John, deputy assistant secretary of state for East Asia and Pacific Affairs testifying September 21 at a hearing of the Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific of the United States House International Relations Committee.
