Chandrika rules out alliance with Marxists

Aug 1 (GulfNews/theacademic.org) President Chandrika Kumaratunga, the leader of the ruling United People's Freedom Alliance (UPFA), has ruled out an alliance with the Marxists JVP (People's Liberation Front) for the upcoming presidential election, a newspaper said yesterday.
