Police to probe journalist's murder

April 29 (Xinhua) Police has launched an investigation into the Friday's abduction and killing of a prominent pro-Tamil Tiger journalist under mysterious circumstances. Police chief Chandra Fernando said that he had ordered an investigation under the command of a senior deputy inspector general.
