JVP to quit within an hour

Apr 23 (ThePeninsula) The powerful JVP, a key ally of the ruling UPFA, says it will quit the government within an hour of any joint mechanism being signed with the LTTE. The Daily Mirror quoted government sources as saying a powerful minister and a number of deputy ministers from the JVP had decided to resign from their positions within an hour after signing the joint mechanism.
