Norway woos Sinhala nationalists
Norway, whose facilitation of the peace process has been coming under heavy flak from Sinhala nationalists in South Sri Lanka, is trying to woo them now.
The Norwegian Peace Envoy, Erik Solheim, will be visiting the tsunami-hit southern districts of Galle and Matara, apart from seeing the damage done in the Tamil-speaking North Eastern districts of Amparai and Jaffna, during his visit to the island between February 21 and 28.
